Hope-2-Others

Hope-2-Others is a family foundation founded in 2013 and based in Weslaco, Texas. Their mission is to strengthen their communities through educational scholarships and organizational grants. The foundation had all of its formation documents in place and had made significant grants since its inception. They needed to formalize their systems and procedures, establish protocols for grants evaluation, and improve their marketing efforts.

The founders are committed to leaving a legacy for their grown children. This legacy includes a foundation that is stable and sustainable. The founders also have a desire to grow the Foundation in order to be as effective as possible in its three funding areas.

Hope-2-Others turned to the Cielo Strategy Group team to assist them so that they could formalize and streamline their processes. We collaborated with the Foundation’s President through guidance and consulting support using best practices for establishing strong grantmaking infrastructure. This included creating documents that outline the grants and scholarships application, evaluation, and distribution processes, including guidelines and timelines. We created the applications for each grants and scholarship process, including grant agreements and report forms. Now, the Foundation has all documents necessary to move forward with future generations of family involved in a streamlined and documented process.

As we worked together, we discovered that there was a need to rebrand the Foundation and redesign their website so that their materials reflected the true spirit of the family we came to know so well. This included a logo redesign, updated brand guidelines, a new website, and marketing materials, such as flyers and presentations.

Hope-2-Others is now set on a strong foundation, and we are proud to play a role in cultivating and helping their mission SOAR in their community.
